Work the band around the edges, arrange the gathers and check that the ruffle hangs evenly. Take a moment to check the corners and any footboard before deciding where the band should sit.
Measure the drop before you choose
This bedskirt has a 15-inch drop. Measure the gap you want to cover, following the measuring guidance on the product page. CGK recommends a drop about two inches longer than that gap; its example is a 15-inch drop for a 13-inch gap.
Choose the bed size separately from the drop length. The size controls how the wrap fits around the bed, while the drop controls how far the fabric hangs.
Let the ruffle finish the room
The brushed microfiber fabric creates a soft ruffled edge. Choose a color close to your sheets for a coordinated bed, or a quieter neutral that can stay in place when you change your duvet.
